Chamber Sponsors "The Best Employers To Work For In The SCV" Competition
    Eight local organizations are currently establishing an annual competition designed to celebrate the best place to work in the Santa Clarita Valley. The competition will use surveys, interviews, and site visits to determine The Best Employers to Work for in the SCV.
    Participating companies will be able to take advantage of local press coverage and will be acknowledged at business meetings sponsored by the Chamber. The competition will certainly help local employers in their efforts to recruit and retain key personnel.
    There will be three classes of employers evaluated…15-50 employees, 51-100 employees, and over 100 employees; two awards will be granted in each class. Companies may submit applications from January 1 to February 28, 2009.
    The sponsoring organizations include the College of the Canyons, the City of Santa Clarita, Optimize Inc., Wildcat Technologies, KHTS Radio, The Signal, Newleaf and the SCV Chamber.
